I’m Neil Campbell, though most people in the snowboarding world know me as Nine Lives.
I’m a British snowboarder, creator and mentor, and I’ve spent the last few years pushing my own riding while helping open doors for others who’ve never seen themselves represented in this sport.
I grew up in Luton and, like a lot of people, I didn’t always make the best decisions when I was younger. After a spell in custody at 18, I knew something in my life had to change. When I came out, I took a job at Snozone, the indoor snow centre, and that’s where I first stepped on a snowboard. From that moment, I was hooked.
It genuinely flipped my whole path.
